Yoga Ek Shubharambh

 Yoga is the act of keeping the inner and outer parts of the body healthy. Unless the internal and external parts of the body are healthy, your body cannot function properly. Because the body and the mind are intertwined. If we ignore anyone of these other will get effected. 

 The excrement and deformities caused by daily movement of the body and daily diet are excreted in 7 ways: - Left-right nostrils, left-right eye, left-right ear, mouth, anus, genitals and skin. Deformities in our body can cause many diseases if these are not absorbed adequately and regularly in these 7 ways. Yoga helps to keep these 7 pathways working perfectly.

 Before starting Yoga we need to know some Importance/Benefits, Instruction & Types, which will be more easier & helpful to learn.

Importance/Benefits: -

Here are some ways to make yoga more effective than other forms of exercise:

1.) Exercises do not give proper internal organs; But yoga gives adequate exercise to the whole body and also to the internal organs.

2.) Yoga requires minimal space and equipment.

3.) Other exercise methods require a partner, but yoga can be done alone.

4.) Yoga controls the mind and senses.

5.) Yoga boosts the body's immune system and makes the body disease free.

6.) The body becomes flexible and energetic.

7.) Yoga and pranayama increase circulatory power, which purifies the blood to a great extent.

8.) Yoga is a non-violent sport, that is, it does not waste energy due to which does not feel tired.

9.) Doing yoga gives peace of mind and develops intellect.

10.) Regular yoga and pranayama cures many incurable diseases.

 

Instructions: -

To get the most out of yoga, follow the instructions below.

1.) Yoga should be done every morning after ritual and after bathing in lukewarm water.

2.) The place to do yoga should be quiet, clean and flat.

3.) Clothes should be loose.

4.) While doing asanas, concentrate on the breathing and the part of the body under pressure.

5.) Shraavana must be done before and while starting the asanas. (This posture helps the mind to concentrate.)

6.) To take the guidance of knowledgeable practitioners by practicing yoga first.

7.) A light diet keeps the body light, which helps in doing asanas.

8.) When the body is diseased, women should do asanas for 3 months after menstruation and during menstruation.

9.) Gradually increase the number of seats and rotation.

10.) Even if a complete vegetarian diet is not necessary, as much vegetarianism as possible helps to lighten your body and concentrate your mind.

 

Classification: -

Some of the yoga asana articles I have read mention the following types,

1.) Seating position.

2.) Sleeping position (Lying on your stomach and sleeping on your back)

3.) hastaasana (on hand for position)

4.) Pagaasana (on leg for position)

5.) Shirshasana (on the head for position).
